For the fourth time, OKGO’s Johan and Marjolijn will be travelling to Austin, Texas for the SXSW Interactive Festival this week. Over the past few years, we’ve come to realize South by South West is by far the most inspiring interactive media conference in the world. As you might know, it is indeed the place where Twitter and Foursquare were launched once, rising to fame when over 50,000 geeks started using these new services.
But SXSW is so much more than just start ups. With over 5,000 sessions to choose from, you’re able to learn more about interactive design, coding, social media, marketing, transmedia, entrepreneurship, big data, quantified self, gamification, film, fonts, music, general inspiration, creativity and so much more. It’s like going back to University, but like, the coolest University evah.
